In Episode 10 – Bonfire of the Vanity – Blair is against the idea of her mother with Cyrus Rose and does everything in her power to make it impossible for them to be together. Jenny and Agnes move in together. Serena and Aaron fall for each other but something about Aaron threatens to ruin their new relationship. Dan and Chuck are at war!

There is some stuff from the novels in the show but I think the show is better personally. Like how D and S lasted way longer than in the book.

Gossip girl has been a book for ages, well actually theres a few books, but yeah the show is only loosely based on it, like yeah its got the same characters but some are really different, like Vanessa has a shaved head and only wears black in the book, and Georgina and Nate were going out. Both the book and the show are great though!

Gossip Girl is actually a book series. There are eleven books in total. Kelly, no we don’t necessarily know everything that happens. The books and the TV show are extremely different from each other. In the books Dan and Serena don’t even amount to a relationship. I believe they get one cup of coffee. Vanessa is nowhere near beautiful and wears all black is bald and wears black Doc Martins. Dan is scrawny, chain smokes and drinks stale coffee while writing bad poems on scraps of napkin. He definitely doesn’t have aspirations to go to Yale. My point is that the books and TV show have formed their own identities and I don’t even think of them together at all. They are very different stories.
yeah i think as the show progresses they are trying to link the show with the novel.. for those of us who have read the novel can see it from jenny and nate’s relationship.. which is what actually happened in the novel.. i wonder what more is to come.. could aaron be related to cyrus rose? and what about the relationship between cyrus rose and eleanor waldrof? i guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.. sorry for ruining it guys!

i’ve read the books too. Aaron is Cyrus Rose’s son. If I remember correctly, Aaron actually has a secret crush on Blair, his would-be stepsister.
And as much as i absolutely and possitively LOVE and ADORE Chuck Bass, he becomes gay is the book series….

Basically agnes is jenny’s outrageous model friend who has been in the last few episodes. They were doing the photo shoot together in the last episode just before nate kissed jenny. Jenny and Nate are still an item, thankfully! So cute! xoxo
I cant believe what Agnes did to Jenny in this episode. I really dont like jenny and think shes too over her head but she needs to get back at agnes. Agnes is a stupid back-stabbing idiot that really pisses me off.
If i were jenny i’d just go to blair, (nomatter how much they were fighting) tell her the story, and ask her to help. Blair always knows how to make people jelous and she always has great plans : ). I love blair, shes an evil genious.
