Episode 20 – Remains of the J looks like the Best Gossip Girl Episode of the season? Hmmm…could be!! Maybe it’s because it was off the air for so long, but I didn’t LOVE the last couple GG episodes. I think they were getting their groove back.
Well, I’m here to tell you: the groove is back in gossip girl with remains of the j!
The scoop:
Jenny’s kinda-not-sweet sixteen! Serena throw’s Jenny an small birthday party for her sweet sixteenth, but things get out of control when Poppy Lifton turns the birthday into a huge social event.
Also, Vanessa agrees to help Chuck…big mistake! It has to do with Nate and Blair and…you know it’s not going to go well when Chuck’s involved. (but you know it’s going to be hot!).
On a serious side, Dan and Rufus try to figure out how to afford Yale.

Serena decides to throw Jenny Humphrey an intimate party for her sixteenth birthday, but things get out of control when Poppy Lifton (new character) turns the small gathering into a huge social event. In a moment of weakness, Vanessa agrees to help Chuck with a scheme to make Blair jealous, while Vanessa sees an opportunity to make Nate jealous at the same time… Rufus learns that Dan will not receive financial aid at Yale and tries to figure out another way to cover the cost of his education. Blair reveals some unresolved feeling between her and Nate.

It was a good episode, but not one of the best. I thought the Grandfather was better, especially the ending! Also am I the only person who thinks that Blair and Nate are good together? They look cute together! But Chuck and Vanessa is just wrong!
I love Serena, she’s my fave character and I think Blair and Jenny are great too but Vanessa is pointless she doesn’t need to be in the show she’s just used to fill in gaps in the other characters stories. And her dress sense sucks! I like the Blair Nate Chuck love triangle but leave Vanessa out of it, she ruins every story line she’s included in!
P.S. LOVE what Serena wears her dress sense is awesome!
