The problem with Vanessa is that she acts like she does not like them, the privilleged ones, but she still mixes up with them. And when something goes wrong – it is their fault, they are how they are. Thats the feeling I get about her. I am a huge supporter of being honest, but why does she mix up with them? That’s the part of character I do not get. IMO

vanessa has to be my favorite girl character in this show. she’s like the only normal girl in gossip girl. maybe the reason people hate her is because she’s not as scandalous and bitchy as the other girls (though i do like them too). or maybe cuz she looks latina. idk but all i know is that its unfair to hate her when all her intentions are good and the other girls aren’t.
