   pret-a-poor is a play on words. in fashion pret-a-porte means ready to wear…so the collections you’d find in a typical store, rather than haute couture, which is one of a kind.

   Anyway i thought that little j looks so emo which makes her look skinny and ugly .. but usually she doesn’t look that skinny its the clothes and make up.

    and i was going thru some old mags when all the models weren’t super skinny and actually had real curves, those were the days, the real models. i wish we had more cindy crawford-like models… she didn’t have to be super thin

    Jesus, some people are thin. and she’s FIFTEEN for fucks sake, she still has a fast metabolism. Being thin doesn’t make you anorexic, although anorexia is horrible of-fucking-course.
    I have friends who’ve gotten shit about having eating disorders just because they’re naturally thin and that’s not fair.
    Being unhealthy is terrible but what do any of us know about an actress we’ve never mets health? Don’t judge people.
    Let her be, she’s a beautiful girl and she can be as skinny or fat as she wants.
    Slim doesn’t always = anorexia.
    Anorexia is bad, but don’t throw hate around at people based on blind accusations.

    I know that they say it’s a man… but.. i do have 2nd thoughts…
    I’m not really sure, but I think its Serena’s grandmother.. coz I remember in season 1 where she told Lily that she was sick just to convince Serena to go to the Debutante ball, but then there was that confrontation with Serena that made her a liar about her being sick.. however, at the end of the episode just when nate and blair was hooking up, we see her taking these meds.. so, it just shows that she really was sick.. anyway, it was just a thought..

    I really dont understand why someone would call Taylor Michel Momsen an anorexsic or ugly or emo or a slut?! come on girls.. know better than that!
    Thats just so cynical to hate on someone you dont even know, and makeup a reason just to make yourself feel better..?
    If for whatever reason you are insecure about yourself… deal with it, because by being bitchy you only show yourself to the world as selfish and shallow.. not the person you talk about.

    This is so funny.. here is some food for thought

    taylor (little J) is a really good friend of mine, goes to my school
    she does coke all the time
    she does it because on this show the entire cast has to keep there image

    not to say that this is a smart descision

    but in this city no one ever fucking sleep for real… and coke certainly does fucking help

    the other fucked up thing is that its in the contracts that the actors sign to “maintain the look of the characters” meaning they can shave there hair, gain any weight or dye there hair, anything like that unless its written in the script

    and the whole series of gossip girl (the book and the show) is based on my best friends school

    Nightingale
    which is an all girls school.. on 96th (duh in NYC of course) and park ave but in the show they added the boys school for the dramatic effect

    also the reason why every girl in history is as skinny as taylor is is beacause professional stylist refuse to dress anyone (any women) who is bigger then a size 4..

    for men its a size 32 usually …

    its alot easier for them to get sample clothes that way.. not to even mention designer clothes which dont go past size 6 in Haute Couture which is all these girls wear anyway

    wait so taylor momsen does cocaine? i’m a sixteen year old and i myself do alot of drugs - weed and salvia mostly, and even though i don’t live in nyc, i find it really hard to believe that a 15 year old is doing coke. like i’m not jumping down your throat or anything so don’t get the wrong idea but like i don’t belive that. though if you know her, you know better than me. and someone dies??? a guy who is a third wheel? my guess would be like bart? i guess i’ll find out.

    girls in fashion shows look like they need a sandwich. They are supossed to be so skinny because they are used to replicate the human form of a hanger.
    But, that is the fashion industry.
    And her being anorexic? I don’t know, Being that taylor momsen was just feature in teen vogues october issue for inspiring women (the article about plastic surgery). I’m majoring in fashion in college.. I wont use deathly skinny girls in my shoots.. jsut average everday people. Not everyone is the IT size.
