From the people who brought us “the Grandfather,” comes “the grandfasther II.” “The Godfather part 2 is considered better than the original, so this episode has a lot to live up to! Olivia as a guest on the Jimmy Fallon’s talk show says something she regrets and tries to hide it from Dan…With elections coming up, Nate suspects his grandfather will do everything he has to get Trip on the congress. After another fight with Serena, Blair gets a new friend and takes her to an election night party at Chuck’s hotel, just to make Serena jealous.

I hate Jenny. She is ANNOYING. She’s a Serena/Blair-wannabe! The Jenny story-line is stupider than the Rufus-Lilly storyline. The only thing I like about Jenny is that thanks to her storyline Gossip Girl has a part for Eric. But overall i think Jenny steals away from the true main characters – Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate, and Dan!
But seriously… Jenny is a hypocrite and a loser. She wanted to be queen because her life wasnt good enough because she’s so VEINbut she was exposed a the loser she is and no one wanted her around but Eric was always nice to her and now she’s being a b**** to Eric?!?!?! Why the fuck have Chuck and Nate suddenly become so ‘mature’ overnight while Blair just shrank about ten years? Chuck has become this stern-faced businessman, Nate is so serious about the elections, and Blair is just this whiny, whingy little girl who’s just sad because she can’t have everything handed to her on a silver platter. Don’t get me wrong. I love Blair, but she seriously needs to grow up. I can’t wait to see her face stuffed in cake.

Blair and Chuck is the necessary love affair. No matter how cold it gets that fact that they’ve been pulled towards each other for so long says something. They are the couple that everyone is rooting for- for better or for worse and to keep it going there always has to be a constant tipping of the scale- meaning that when Chuck is walking towards the light, Blair has to be the one walking away…and vice versa. In the end, they will get it together….they better not pull some Dawson’s Creek crap! lol
As for Serena…and Dan- there’s no sizzle anymore but there is no doubt that people miss it- I miss it. Maybe later, for now Olivia fits the bill. Serena needs more edge or be with someone with more edge or be in a situation that requires more edge. Enough with the reform, we get it! Do something!
