Gossip Girl Spoiler: Blair’s Bulimia to Return, as will Carter Baizen!

Hey people!

I always thought it was odd how someone’s affliction could just suddenly evaporate into thin air. Clearly, the CW has got their brains in order and are making Blair’s bulimia have a comeback. However, it’s going to be very subtle, says exec producer Stephanie Savage. However she does hint “those who are looking for it, shall find it”.

What is this? Harry Potter searching for Voldermort’s horcruxes?

Oh, and Carter is coming back with a bang, apparently having something to do with Eric and Serena’s incognito daddy. So let’s count the people returning this season, shall we? Mommy Bass, Jack Bass, Georgine BitchFace Sparks (oh, how I love her), Daddy Van Der Woodsen, Carter Baizen.

Should be interesting. What d’you think?

Hey guys! Now that we have our best series back, come along the questions and the WTF?! And today, my WTF! will be about…little J!

Brooklyn’s cinderella princess has made her way all through the Upper East Side, establishing herself as queen and acting like a spoiled bray…

And now, well where is she heading with all the European-Drug-Smuggling thing? I mean, sure, we could agree that to her, this business was a greater and more dangerous entertainment than everything she was provided with before…But with the “Hurt Locker” episode it seems she really is beginning to enjoy it, as a professionnal would. The next legitimate step would be…trying on the products, but I don’t know if the CW will go that far…We had already be shown in the first season small puffs of weed from Nate and Chuck, some white “flour” in a bag in the second season…and now some pills that look like candies! Not hard to say that the CW is playing it soft on the drug issue!

Anyway, the following episodes trailers allow us to think that it will be more on the “sex” aspect that her “partnership” with Damien will evolve..My question is simple then: What is Jenny looking for? The last frontier before her father “grounds” her properly (if he ever does…no offence but Rufus is not exactly the authoritarian parent model…)? Does she expect her complete childish yet masterly handed insolence to draw someone’s attention…? And who? According to spoilers, Nate? Can she really believe her game could keep on forever without her facing any consequences of her business? Without anyone finding out what she really is up to? I don’t think so. If she enjoys a risky situation -as she apparently does- she’ll do the opposite, provoking danger in front of everyone without any caution.

Most shrinks for teenagers say that risky business is made as a cry for help, for guidance and protection from the ones who should be in charge of it -adults. Is our little queen simply like any other teen her age? Or is she really playing another card, a darker and ruthless one, searching for an absolute license to satisfy her whims and to be “free”?

What do you think?

I don”t know anything about Taylor Momsen but doesn”t it seem obvious that her character matches her in real life, somehow- at least for the provocation (in clothing…)?

Leighton Talks about Marriage, Fashion and… Dorota?

This month, Leighton Meester covered Glamour Magazine, along with Zoe Saldana and Amanda Seyfried.

Leighton, the most ’stylish’ of them, was interviewed for the photoshoot. Here is what she said:

GLAMOUR: I’m friendly with Zuzanna, who plays Dorota, and she said you’re extremely loyal, especially to the Gossip Girl “family.”

LEIGHTON MEESTER: We’ve grown up together and we’re close. I mean, if I needed to, I would probably beat someone up for them.

GLAMOUR: Aww. Is it hard seeing yourself in tabloids?

LEIGHTON MEESTER: Just don’t go Googling yourself. But I think if you have haters, you [also] have triple the number of people who believe in you.

GLAMOUR: You enjoy fashion. Does [Gossip Girl costume designer] Eric Daman help you for events?

LEIGHTON MEESTER: Yes, I see what I like from the [runway], but it’s about mixing and matching. Daily life shouldn’t be a fashion show all the time.

GLAMOUR: As a singer, do you have an alter ego, like Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce?

LEIGHTON MEESTER:To some extent. I’m inspired by fashion, sex, my friends. I love strong, awesome, hot women!

GLAMOUR: Will you ever want to get married?

LEIGHTON MEESTER: No. If it was important to somebody I loved, maybe I’d think about it, but I don’t think that I’m the type. It’s not for me. I believe in love, children and being a good person.

GLAMOUR: Like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell!

LEIGHTON MEESTER: Yeah, I wouldn’t mind living together. [But] eventually I’ll have to get a separate house for my shoes!

Fashion Recap – The Hurt Locket

Hey everyone!

There’s a possibility that I will be putting two fashion recaps up on the same day, since today is sunday, and The Lady Vanished comes out tomorrow! But I think it’s ok for me to start my weekly fashion recap with The Hurt Locket even though it’s been a week. Just on a note, I’m only going to comment on the girls’ clothes. The boys are just plain suits and all that jazz. Boring to blog about.

So, we didn’t se loads of different looks in this episode, but what we got was these. And you guys, remember to click on the pictures. I don’t get why they always come out blurry

This was one of my favorite looks in this episode! I love the jacket! It’s a Go Green Go by Phillip Lim Multi Flap Pocket Coat in Pebble Gray. Long name, I know. The only thing I dislike about this outfit is the dress. I don’t know if it’s just because I don’t like white clothes (normally), but I just didn’t think it was pretty. Nor did the slightly glittery pattern at the ends (hard to notice, but I did) help. But elsewise I think it’s really pretty. I love the gloves, and the Carlos Falchi Brooke Matte Caiman Tote bag matched the outfit great with its color and everything. My favorite part is the leggins.

Well, you know, I don’t think Blair took it serious when she dressed up. But I really like the fur hat! And I guess the shirt is fine if you dressed it up right. Overall I think it’s a funny outfit thinking that she’s trying to seduce Chuck

Not pretty. The Vintage Moschino Jacket is nice for itself, but I’m really not liking the Victoria Beckham One Shouldered dress WITH it. If you wore the dress without anything over it, it would be okay. But I’m still not feeling it. The earrings is House of Lavande Drop Earrings, and the bag is Valentino.

Next we have Jenny, in another Mochino coat which I’m not a big fan of. I guess it’s okay. I wouldn’t wear it. The dress, I love! It’s a Andrew Gn Sequin Dress and I am absolutely loving it. I’ve heard alot of people talking about how discusting it is, and you know what the only discusting thing about this look is? Her lipstick. Oh, my god. Not pretty. At all. Come on. The clutch is a Salvatore Ferragamo.

Serena is wearing a gorgeous Versace Cutout Black Gown, that goes perfectely with the drug-jacket which I COULD NOT get the designer on! Feel free to comment the designer if you know who made it. The bracelet is from Lia Sophia and called Geometric Cuff. I am loving it! Her earrings are also from Lia Sophia. This is probably my favorite look from the whole episode. Blake – Serena – looked stunning! Oh, and she wore my favorite pair of Louboutins – Christian Louboutin Very Prive Studded Peep-toe Pumps. Gorgeous! Another reason to love this outfit.

Only thing I could find out about this look was that the necklace is a Alex Woo one. I don’t know what else to say about this outfit other than that her hair looked pretty

Taylor’s Tragic Story in Fabulous Magazine- READ!

Hey guys,

I, like everyone else who keeps up with gossip, have noticed the online wars going on between Gossip Girl fans who support Taylor Momsen, and the ones who don’t. As for those who write here at watch-gossip-girl.com to entertain you, we just tell it like it is. Whether you like it or not, it’s our job to tell you guys whats going on. Even if that means saying a few things here and there about Taylor Momsen. And, face it, guys: the things she says are not okay. If you don’t like the way we write, don’t read it.

On a different note, I came across an interview with Taylor in Fabulous magazine, and I just had to share. Once you guys read this, your views on her may change. Mine didn’t

So she starts the interview by saying, “I’ve had lots of people say I’m disgraceful because I should act like a role model for younger kids but I’m not a role model. I’m an actress, I’m a singer and I don’t want to be a role model.”

Sorry, hon, but the title ‘role model’ comes with the job. You should have thought of that before you got into the business.

Next, she says: “I didn’t have a great childhood. I loved my family, I loved my work, but I hated school. I had a really bad time. Other kids didn’t like me. I didn’t fit in. I know a lot of girls couldn’t handle everything I’ve been through.

“I was made fun of all the time – the other kids used to taunt me religiously. I never had a best friend. My life was just not normal. I was in commercials, I was in TV series, then I was the Grinch Girl.

“I really wanted a friend but it just never happened. I didn’t get talked to or invited anywhere. I never got hit or anything like that. It was much more snidey and personal. I also never got asked out once at school. I was the weird one. Maybe people thought I was stuck, maybe they thought I was above them.”

And what does she have to say about the Courtney Love comparison?

“It bugs me when people say I’m the next Courtney Love. Number one I’ve never been a heroin addict like she was, and number two I don’t look anything like her.”

Uhh, what?

Spot the difference?

The rest of the interview and comments she makes are quite different, some about inspiring other girls, others about wanting to be original. Other than that, she makes it very clear that she’s not going to change for anyone.
