Forget that ho-hum Oscar nomination. Now Anne Hathaway has something even cooler to brag about: her very own Gossip Girl plot!
Sources confirm to me exclusively that the show is planning a season-ending story line loosely inspired by the actress’ infamous (and fizzled) romance with Italian grifter Raffaello Follieri, who was convicted last October…
on 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy.
In the world of Gossip Girl, Blake Lively’s Serena will play the unsuspecting ingenue who falls for a handsome European socialite — in this case a hunk named Gabriel (casting is under way).
Though she won’t confirm or deny the story’s Hathaway-esque twists, executive producer Stephanie Savage reveals that Serena’s beau is “very well-traveled, part of the global elite. He’s not a brooding artist like Dan or Aaron rose. He’s definitely a grown-up, and that’s something Serena is very attracted to.”

OMG! I really wanna see some romance between Serena and some guy soon. Rose was a weirdo, and Humphrey is a clingy guy that never got over her. I really want Serena to end up with an equal. Dan was alright, but he was like a fish out of water with Serena.
Aaron was a stuck up poncy git, that looked like a “nerdy” Dan. Although I loved to see the Serena/Dan romance, nothing was keeping them together. Now that the secret about the big dead brother came out, and the fact that Lily and Rufus never get out of bed, means that there is NO way Serena and Dan can stay together…
Serena needs to find a guy that is in the elite, but looks AWESOME. I really hope the casting people find a real hottie for Gabriel. Can’t wait to see that coming along…
As for Blair and Chuck., hmm, I see them coming back together, after Chuck gets over his whore-fetish, but unfortunately it runs in the family, LOLZ, Bart and Jack. Nate might give Blair a shot, after all they have been together since Kindergarten.
Blair is probably going to Yale, but I doubt that Dan is gonna let that happen easily, with Miss Carr fired. I really hope Blair learns her lesson. She is such a biatch sometimes. Scratch that, everytime.
I really hope something fun happens with Eric. I really like him now that he is confindent with his sexuality and boyfriend.
I predict that in the next episodes, Georgina and Serena are going to combine forces somehow, because I really want them to patch things up.
As for Jenny and Vanessa… Well, can you say S-O-C-I-A-L-C-L-I-M-B-E-R-S?
