Blair vs. Serena

One is, well, was until this season anyway, uber-classy and always impeccably dressed while the other looks gorgeous in anything she wears.
Blair has a more vintage-preppy look while Serena’s look is a lot more laid-back but still stylish as anything.
While I feel that Serena is a lot hotter than Blair, I have always had a soft spot for Blair’s sophisticated ensembles. Serena seems to look good without having to ever lift a finger where as Blair seems a lot more like someone who needs that extra bit of make-up to look the way she does.
Though I did feel that Blair’s outfits this season were a tad bit too overdone for my taste, I still love her.
But if it really comes down to picking one, I really can’t chose between the two because they both are extremely gorgeous, even if Blair’s current wardrobe screams “Stolen from Grandma”.
So, lovelies, what is the verdict? Whom do you prefer, Serena or Blair?

i’ll always go for blair, but i have to admit that serena has that special star quality… that girl would look gorgeous in anything. and i agree with you guys on the outfit situation — blair’s clothes last year were amazing, but i’m not really feeling it yet this season.

I totally do not understand when people say that Serena is hot! She’s so generic looking! Blair is definitely prettier and cuter!…I agree that this season none of them actually look as good as they used to!…Serena always looks so messy, her hair is never done and she SO can’t pull of those maxi dresses! Especially the one where she takes off the straps for the paparazzi! Her boobs were bursting out for no reason! It did NOT look good!…

On the other hand Serena has so small lips and her characteristics are so simple(small eyes ok blue but Small). She is blonde and the blonde hair give some extra prettyness but Blair who has brown her is again one step infront of S!!!

besides i think blake’s style in real life is way better that leighton’s, and leighton does not look THAT cute when she is not in GG.
Blair actually has more curves…But both of them are quite slim, I wouldn’t call either normal, but atleast they both look healthy…CW is constantly telling them all to lose weight, so I think they look great considering the pressure…
@Sharon Tang- Are you referring to me? Well, honey, sadly that’s because I DO know fashion. Have you worked with Vogue? I think not. Also, Blake and Taylor do not have stylists which Leighton does. And, I do not “constantly pick Blake over everyone else even if she’s wearing a potato sack”. In fact, many a times I’ve preferred Jessica Szhor or Taylor and even sometimes Leighton.
@L- Um. Blair wears the most extravagant clothes on the shows so please don’t say Blake needs clothes to look pretty.
@Rav- Au contraire, Eric Daman landed his gig at Charlotte Russe because of Serena’s outfit (the blue maxi episode 1) while Blair looked absolutely stuffy in the brocade Dolce and Gabbana.
To everyone else, I am not biased. I love Blair too. I just think she’s a little bit elitist and snobby. It’s entertaining to watch her, sure, but I’d hate a person who’s only nice to her rich friends in real life. I am from a well to-do family and neither me nor my friends go marching around telling people they’re less than them because they’re not as rich. It’s ridiculous.
Plus, in general, I prefer Blake to Leighton. Because Blake has that feisty, breezy, quirky way about her while Leighton seems much more…I dk…she’s just doesn’t come across as that down to earth.
That said, I am definitely not biased. I say what I like when I like it, no matter who it is that I’m talking about.

There’s that tone again…I don’t remember me saying that the dress was ugly…I said that Serena couldn’t pull it off and it didn’t fit well…Otherwise it was a great dress!…Btw Blair is supposed to look “stuffy”…
In that photo Serena’s top half is so so but the bottom is frumpy and her calves look fat. Blair in Season three on the other hand is still classy but with a little Leighton edge, I don’t like it, but it works.

When you say “special something”, don’t you mean her plastic-surgery boobs and nose job?
They both are completely different, so whom you prefer really depends on your own personal style. I have always loved vintage outfits which is why I adore Blair but there a very thin line between frumpy and vintage which is why I didn’t like her look all that much this season.
Serena’s style is a lot easier, it’s what I would wear if given a choice.
But really, they are both gorgeous and I would kill to look like either of them.
