OMG! I don’t think Ed and Jessica look that good together. Besides, Ed and Leighton have so much chemistry on the TV! They’re either REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY good actors or they have some REALLY REALLY good chemistry. That’s why I think they should be together.

The reason that Ed and Leighton look better together is because of their body language. I’m no analyst, but I’m gonna try anyway.
In the first picture, both Ed and Leighton’s bodies are turned towards one another and more touching. In fact, Leighton’s entire body is turned towards his, which shows trust, and though his body isn’t entirely towards hers, his grounded stance seems to say he’s secure with her.
Same effect in the second picture: comfort. He’s the protector (with his arm entirely, securely around her sholders) and she seems to welcome that protection with her body leaning into his and her hand towards his chest. I think the most significant difference is that with Ed and Leighton, they are right next to each other, neither more forward nor back than the other, but at the same level, in sync with one another.
Then you contrast that with Ed and Jessica. In all three pictures, he is more forward and turned outwards than she is, and he never puts his arm entirely around her, almost as if he’s trying to be seperate from her. In the second picture especially, their bodies aren’t even touching, and their heads are tilted away from one another. It seems uncomfortable! Their bodies, and even their expressions, never seem as in sync as Ed and Leighton’s. BUT this could be due to the fact that they’re trying to hide their romance and feel uncomfortable lest they give anything away.
That would bring you to the pic of them at the bowling alley, where they’re not posing. But though they’re facing one another and Ed’s foot is even pointed in her direction, her body and leg seem to be turning away from him. And look how far away they are from each other!! Plus, they’re both looking entirely down and not at each other!
I don’t know what they say about one another vocally, but when it comes to body language, the message seems to be that Ed and Leighton are more comfortable together than Ed and Jessica, so my vote is for Ed and Leighton.

EW!!! Jessica was never on my list of top characters…actually she was never on my list at all. She, in my opinion, is the worst out of all of them and most annoying. Even in real life I don’t find her pretty or anything close to it. Ed and Leighton just work together. They look like they are meant for each other.
They go together perfectly, and once again, Jessica (Vanessa) is always there to screw things up.
Neither Jessica or Leighton, actually. Sure, Chuck and Blair are great together, but I feel Leighton especially is nothing like Blair. Blair is bitchy, does have emotions but tries to hide them and Leighton seems like a very friendly, cheerful person to me.
I kind of had the idea Ed would go for the model girlfriend. He says he’s such an indie rocker with his music and clothing style, comparing himself to Pete Doherty.
