GG fans converting to 90210?

Hey People!
Don’t get me wrong…I love 90210 as well. But I always thought that there were way more GG fans.
So to say the least, I was totally shocked to see these comments on the post “90210 cast…gossip girl wannabes?”

I think the first season of GG was good, but it got really predictable in season 2.
I was once a GG fan, but I’ve converted to 90210 because you can relate to it more.
& Jessica Stroup is pretty. :L

First season of GG was awesome, but season two is really shitting me in the head. The same thing keeps happening.
& as much as I love Penn Badgley & Blake Lively, Jessica Stroup & Dusting Milligan are hotter. 
Jessica Stroup is pretty. 
& 90210 owns GG.

Oh…well… i like more GG because i don’t like the new episodes from 90210. But the first episodes from 90210 was a lil bit better than GG. And, they are right… it keeps on with the same things Blair & Chuck in love but never in good time, Dan&Serena…. but don’t get me wrong… it’s still aswam.
I watched a few episodes of 90210 and didn’t like it at all.
When i saw the first GG episode, after one second i was addicted to it. It’s so much more exciting.. but i do have to admit that the last couple of episodes were a bit boring.So deffinetly Season 1 is better then Season 2 but i like both. I hope Season 3 will b great aswell, i’m dying to see if the Blair-Chuck-thing works out.. I think that will b exciting to watch.

ok it think that 90210 is boring and is not any wear close to being as good as gossip girl. gossip girl has hotter couples like blair and chuck<3 and Serena and dan and blair and nate and way better drama. gossip girl has hotter guys on the show.

Otherwise I love the gossip girl cast I love ed westwick and Leighton Meester. Ed is so HOTT!!! And Leighton is so pretty. Taylor Momsen, Blake Lively are pretty too I’m not to fond of Jessica but shes still really pretty. and Im not really into chace crawford too much of a hotter zack efron but hes still hot, i also think that penn is hot not really my type but hes still hot

I’ve never watched 90210 but I like the actually Gossip Girl aspect to GG… you don’t really get that in other shows. Idk it just seems like 90210 is more of the same that is shown on all these shows, the OC, the Hills…

they really picked up the pace and made some more scandel, Season 1 didnt get as many hits as 2

Gossip girl owns 90210 and who would think otherwise…sure the last few episodes have been going on boring but clearly they are fillers leading up to something huge!!! And season 3 will be phenomanal I mean think about it people THEY WILL BE AT COLLEGE!!! which will mean new cast and affairs with teachers etc the only question I have is how the hell will they have the GG characters all together like this when they are spread out randomly all at different uni’s??? WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO????

I love 90210 too and hey! The OC was awesome! But I’m more loyal to GG bc well, everyone is hot (I only like Adrianna, Naomi, Liam, and Navid on 90210…oh and Ty) and the clothes, even though are pretty cute on 90210, the trenches, scarves, boots and gloves are missing bc it’s B Hills and is always hot.
I DO think that Jessica Stroup is veryyyy pretty but she’s totally anorexic and that doesn;t ever look good. Blake is my favorite cast member- she’s hot, lively and down to earth.
and guys, remember, *I* didn’t say the fans should convert…this is a poll sort of thing.

GG all the way!!! i mean things that happen in GG are sooo not every-day-events.. its like a concentrate of drama.. but thats why we love it. i mean in the truth.. no one would plot the same way blair does, and get away with it.. 90210 can b really boring, and stupid sometimes, like what was the thing with silver getting crazy because dixon didnt want her to show everyone their sex tape?? i dont dislike 90210, but im not ever as curious to c the next episode as it is for GG.

I like both shows and i agree with you all that GG is MUCH better
However, it actually wouldn’t surprise me if everyone coverted to 90210 because of all these ridiculous breaks GG are randomly having. Plus, it’s not even worth the wait as the episodes after the break are usually boring and predictable. If GG doesn’t sort itself out people WILL lose interest and frankly a lot of people already have.

The fashion is better, the people are hotter and most importantly GG is original show. yeaa it stemed from a book but it took on its own plot lines and became something (almost) completely different. 90210 is just another sad re-make of a once loved show from the past, key word PAST. GG always for me.
Even though I realize and fully understand that both shows are a heightend reality, when it comes down to cold hard facts, we watch these show because we want to lead the lives the characters have. We all want to eat lunch on the steps with Blair, chill on the beach will Annie and Silver, party with Serena and, most importantly, we all want to make out with Ed Westwick.
However, people don´t realize how much watching these shows actually effects them. There are some fans of GG and 90210 that cannot separate fact from T.V fiction and therefore get more than is intended out of these shows, which, lets face it as much as we love them, are complete and utter nonsense. It is with these people in mind that I say that Gossip Girl s better. The FACT is that all of the 90210 girls (with the exception of Lori Laughlin and Jenny Garth) are borderline anorexic which advocates and unrealistic body image for fans of the show. Just compare a picture of curvaceous Blake Livley or Leighton Meester with a snapshot of seriously skinny Jessica Stroup, Shanae Grimes and Annalynne McCord and telly me you don´t agree with me. Like my grandfather always says, there is nothing worse than hugging a bag of bones.
Remember, anorexia is a disease and we should not be promoting this body shape for young girls as an ATTRACTIVE look. Bad move CW! Bring on the Gossip Girl Girls!!

I like both Gossip Girl & 90210. Personally I like 90210 more. I haven’t been watching Gossip Girl these past few months, probably because its getting more IMO, a lot of people feel that way too. You don’t need to bash another girl on the show just to defend the show you like, that’s really immature & pathetic.
