Hey People,
Now this pic was taken at a dinner reception for Balthazars for the launch of Topshop in Manhattan.Here, she’s decked in a gorgeous Pucci skirt (looks it), fishnets, a leather jacket and of course, hot pink lipstick.
Okay, as much as I LOVE (and trust me on this one) love love the ensemble, the lipstick kinda looks a little trashy? I dk…the make-up isn’t right.

I think she looks like she’s having fun. It’s funny that only grownups can dress slutty and wear tons of makeup..maybe they’re the ones that should be questioning THEIR actions, instead of displacing on their children.

GGluvr- Modestly. Hm. That’s a new one. But, Taylor’s 15 and like laura said, she’s just having fun (cue: cindy lauper), so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with her clothes. They look great. And the skirt..oh the skirt *sigh*.

But, when I said “the lipstick looks trashy and just doesn’t fit right” I didn’t mean that in the sense that she’s trying to look slutty or I’m blaming her for it or whatever, all I’m saying is, the color looks to old for her and somehow, the make-up is all messed up and it’s making her face look oily.

I quite like this actually. Perhaps because a lot of my friends have styles similar to this, or along the same lines, so I’m used to it.
I’d never wear it unless dressing up as a rock chick or whatever, because that’s not my style, but I do like it.

well arushi, why do u have to compare her to the rest of them. i’m just sick of people dicriminating people just by their age. as i said if i said taylor’s fashion style is good or not, it doesn’t change the fact that she doesn’t care. she’s gonna keep on wearing them clothes. our opinions doesn’t change anything. i’ve seen many models in london wearing the exact style, i wonder how come no one is dissing them? why just taylor. and it’s not just this site but everywhere. im not a big fan of taylor, but i am against the whole (she’s a teenager so she can’t even wear a mini, which isn’t even a mini skirt that looks like a strap belt…

Anyway, T has a real knack of picking up an outfit that would otherwise be seen in bits. For example: skirt: Zac Posen/Pucci/Kors…top:Banana Republic and jacket: Bill Blass or Rock and Republic. You’re getting my idea? So she manages to put together an entire ensemble sans the “I shop at this label, and this label only” shit.

i never said that u said anything, i was pointing to everybody, read what i wrote i said “all of you guys” which means i’m not only saying it to you. i’m saying it in general. n im not hyped up but i think ur hyped up too. since ur replying to my comments also. and lily actually did dress up in one episode where she’s wearing a very open dress and i think rufus walked in and said wow….and she’s actually wearing serena’s dress. look i don’t think she’s dressing older, but i am against that she’s smoking and all that with the other co stars. being a part time working fashion stylist, the make up actually suits it therefore it is not a fahsion faux pas. becuz back in the vintage, grunge days, that sort of make up that taylor has on is actually right. if u look at twiggy, edie sedgwick, they all have those packedo n makeup with their vintage grunge looks, including mod.
