A close source said they would hold a casting call for these characters…

A girl named Katie who is in her early 20’s/late teens. Who is a cute sophomore that recognizes Dan’s name from his New Yorker piece and invite Dan to join a student writing group. Katie is supposed to be there for four scenes.

A girl named Amalia is also in her late teens/early 20’s. Who is a freshman who wants to be popular and social. She tries to impress Blair Waldorf and attends Blair’s first dorm party. Amalia will be in wo scenes.

There also some minor roles – extremely minor.

A reporter of the age of 20-30. He will interview Chuck in his suite and ask him about his plans for the future. The reporter will be in one scene.

A dude named Tyler Fank who is in his 40’s. He is an upscale businessman who meets with Chuck to review this prospectus for a new venture. He will be in one scene but it will be a big scene.

A driver who is in his 30’s and will drive Serena to Brown. I guess Serena won’t being to search for her father, not yet at least. He will have one scene and one line.

The dorm room girl who is in her late teens. The girl will have one line. Also she is clearly not in the same world as Blair.

An unnamed guy. Who is a student at college who passes by Dan at a popular hangout. He will have one line.

Two unnamed guys. Two “indie” guys at a college party, debating the merits of a popular sci-fi program.

These are possible roles, they might be changed or cut out.
