On an ordinary Sunday night, I was riding the subway with my boyfriend to Chinatown for some pork dumplings and General Tso’s tofu. On the last stop in Brooklyn before Manhattan, the doors opened and a group of hip kids got on. While admiring one girl’s necklace, a strategically dingy-looking guy in the group walked past me to the middle of the train. I did a double take and looked to my right, my eyes locking with a pair of familiar baby blues: I was sandwiched between Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald — known in the real world/outside the halls of Constance Billiard as Ed Westwick and Chase Crawford (pictured) of Gossip Girl. The girl with the necklace? Jessica Szohr who plays Vanessa Abrams on the show.
The wittiest thing I could come up with on the spot was to say, “Chuck Bass rides the subway? Ha, ha!” and run swiftly off the train. Another idea was to approach one of them and whisper, “Spotted on the L train, C and N…” Instead I sat there, elbowing my bruised boyfriend, and throwing all shame out the windows to gawk at them for the entire seven-minute ride. Either no one else on the train knew who they were, or they were being much more discreet about their appreciation for the show. I felt like turning to my neighbor and whispering, “Don’t you know who these guys are?? Dude! It’s like we’re on the set of Gossip Girl! Be affected by this, please!”

Firstly…HOW COULD YOU NOT SAY ANYTHING TO THEM!!!!!
Pictures AT LEAST =]
Andddd i cant watch episode 5…a little help please!
Thanxx xoxo
i would have asked for an autograph or said i love the show or something. if i was more brave than usual, asked for a pic with them as well.
AHAHA! that’s hilarious! totally would’ve pissed my pants had you gone for the second option.. lucky you though.. sigh.. i can only dream ;P
Lol I would have taken a pic GG style and said “spotted, N, C and V all together? On the subway? What show is this?” lol or something equally dorky.
they probably didn’t want to be bothered… because if you said something then other people would have said something… and it would have escaladed and made it very uncomfortable to them.. I think its best that you didn’t say anything, they’re just people and they probably just wanted to get to where they were going without a group of girlie fans screaming to get their attention… wouldn’t you?
i would have defo taken a picture and say ‘xoxo gossip girl’
Huh?! How could you just NOT say all the things you considered?! My god at least you could have said something… But never mind.. I have a huge problem… I can’t see episode 4 and I really want to.. can someone help me please!?
xoxo
I was walking with my friend Deanna down the street of Moose Ave in Banff when I totally saw the real Chuck Bass. He came up to Deanna and said that he loved her shoes (she’s still wearing them) and she got his autograph on her left butt cheek. He was all alone but then when we all decided to go back to his place, he got a little friendly just like the Chuck Bass we all know and love on GG. He let me keep one of his Chanel scarfs, it’s baby blue with itty bitty little stars on it. I sold it on ebay though for 50.00 back to him. I miss his hard and very large member.
oppsie “I Bumped into Nate and Chace”? or Nate and Chuck?
I would of found myself in the same position.. i’d be speechless! But at the time appreciative i was so very close to them and could actually see them with my very own eye.
Im just glad to see they dont feel they’re too “superior for the subway” now!
Lucky you! Xxx
