Leighton Meester opted for a lime green Nina Ricci while at TAO and while I am not drooling over this look, I don’t hate it either. The shoes sexy but I don’t think they’re right for this dress, no?

I don’t know if they’re purple or brown – if they’re brown, the color matches perfectly the dress and in that case it’s more about the design that contrasts with the spirit of the dress…
and it’s not my favorite green either…I prefer a warmer green like the one blair wears in summer, kind of wonderful..

Shoes are great, but I don’t really like the dress..
I like the dress, but don’t love it. The bottom half looks great in my opinion, but the way the top half sits just doesn’t look right to me. The mini straps and slight bagginess of it might be what irks me about it…
I think the style of the shoes match the dress though. However, their colour could be better.

I love the whole ensemble! The floaty dress paired with the military gladiator shoes makes for some great contrast. This is how high fashion is accomplished–mixing seemingly opposing pieces.
she needs a stylist. and if she has one, fire them!
That dress needs to run back to the early 2000’s.
