Hey everyone.

Leighton Meester was spotted at the American Eagle Outfitters flagship store preview party with maybe a little too much 80’s egde going on.

She has opted with dark shaded purple eyeshadow that clashes with her bright red lips.This is a continuation of this article, by Arushi

I have to say that the eye makeup is way to harsh for her delicate skin tone. It makes her look quite washed out and off colour.
But I do love the red lips though.

She has also decided to go with a complete leather mini dress and gorgeous ethnic-looking gladiator heels. She has accessorized with a cute-as gold bangle and statement clutch (which I love).
The bangle and clutch complement the heels and the black nails give a bit of edge.

I just feel like the leather mini is too edgy for the makeup. I believe that the ensemble should have been toned down and a little less ‘rocker-edge’.
I would have gone for gold hoop earrings with my hair pulled back and cute high waisted mini shorts with gold detailing(buckles/buttons) with a simple black singlet shirt plus the accessories she has already chosen.

Bu that is changing the ‘look’ she was going for so overall, the outfit would not have been that bad is she had toned the make-up down.

Anyone agree?

I always appreciate Leighton’s fashion risks but I am a little diappointed by this one:(
