So, aha, Meester has a sex tape, so I heard, kudos to Gossip Girl and Arushi for informing us while I’m here in Limbo.
It’s all over the internet and I’m completely shocked by this. I always thought that Leighton was the unique, classy, Audrey-Hepburn-type girl but I may have been slightly wrong.
Reports say that Leighton Meester was eighteen and the man in the tape was her boyfriend.
I know people are going to charge at me with negative slurs but I have to speak my mind, people.
I frankly think that Leighton and her BF were stupid as hell to even tape their intimate actions. I mean if you’re going to make a sex tape, it’s no surprise that someone is going to find out about it. Sure, maybe she was drunk or desperate for money, ahem, but if you see a camera in your face for about an X amount of time, you would notice that it’s recording.
She was active as a star since 1999 so I don’t think she has an excuse for that sort of thing. She was already famous and she made a sex tape. She probably knew she was rising to fame and fortune. And ugh, she decided to make a sex tape.
Now, another thing I noticed was that people keep saying things like, “Oh, she’s so classy even after this” or “So what if it’s a sex tape?”. HELLO! She was famous at the time and she wanted to degrade herself by recording her sex scenario. This type’s of stuff happens when stars get the famous thing into their head or maybe her boyfriend was SO good she had to record it. Haha, doubt it.
But I don’t know, we will never know what exactly happened.

While I agree with some of what you’ve said, I disagree when you say she “wanted to degrade herself”. It’s hard for me to say anything bad about Leight, because I do love her so, so much, but all I can say is even at 18 she was young and stupid. Everyone has those young and stupid times, right? When you’re six, you think it’s a mighty fine idea to pour bleach into the milk as a prank on your sister, but when you get older? Not so much.
Same with Leight. While I agree that 50% of the scandal is her fault, it was also terrifyingly cruel of her ex to do that to her.
Come on, how old are you? Obviously not old enough to be having sex yourself.
Sex is not a disgusting thing, and it’s JUST A SEX TAPE.
At the end of the day, it’s no huge deal.

I have to say that I agree with Vickye.
We have no right to judge Leighton because she made a sex tape, especially when PLENTY of people do it- famous or not. And at the end of the day it really was NOTHING.
God knows what kind of trouble she was in then, even if she did have some sort of acting job, you never know what was really going on, and I for one am not going to judge her, she was young, influential and I feel sorry for her.
Also now she’s going to have to deal with what she’s done! Anyone who thought she was stupid or deserved it, well she’s definitely going through a rough period now.
She’s still my fave gossip girl and I still like her myself ^^

But please, if they want to make a sex tape, make it but lock it in coffer or something..!!! Because if you are famous… you know that stuff like that eventually getting up… (just look on Paris, Pamela or Kim.K ), learn from others mistakes.
