Alright here’s the 411 on what’s up with GG’s steamiest couples:
Blair and Chuck will make it through the year, says executive producer Stephanie Savage. But not without their own ups and downs.Their relationship is going to be something very unique and something we haven’t seen before. They have definitely found ways of not being boring.

Serena goes off with Carter inexplicably in the season finale of last season, allegedly to seek out her father, Keith Van Der Woodsen. Something definitely happens over the summer and they have to deal with the fall-out during the first few episodes of season 3.
This is going to get interesting.
Nate and Bree Buckley (Joanna Garcia)’s relationship is described by Stephanie as a “Romeo and Juliet romance”. Owing to the fact that the Texan girl’s Republican family are rivals of the Vanderbilts, Nate’s maternal grandparents.
His drama with Grandpa Vanderbilt continues.
Dan and Olivia (Hilary Duff): Here’s what we’re all wondering: How did Lonely Boy land megastar Olivia? Apparently she’s a star since she was a child, aching for a normal college life and find solace with Dan, the culture snob who doesn’t even recognize her as famous.
He seems to be attracting the alpha female, doesn’t he?
Kind of a trend, it’s getting to be.
But guess what? Serena isn’t jealous. They are one of “those” lucky few who don’t have any uncomfortable “ex” feelings and are more sibling-happy than old-flame-awkward.
Good to know.

And what’s with Scott, the love child who hooks up with Vanessa?
Apparently, it will definitely come a full cirlce in the first part of the season. Vanessa helps. Erm, how? By sleeping with him?
Only time will tell.
