You also forgot to mention how like Gossip Girl is American and 90210 is American, and how Gossip Girl has both male AND female cast members and so does 90210…

Seriously, get a life. They both teenage dramas. What do you expect? They have nothing better to write about.

tHis is really a bad post. I mean there are / have been so many tv-shows based on teenager problems.
I love both shows..
At the beginning I loved GG more than 90210 because it was very interesting ( I also read the books) but there have been some episodes I thought : wtf!? this is so boring.. But now it’s going back in the good direction. btw : I love the clothes their wearing, the houses their living in.. ect. It’s makes the show more fun watching.

Since Naomi started dating Liam the 90210 became just incredible !! The show made me go back to the times of the OC. And I must confess, that was the best tvshow ever!! I’ve watched it soo many times!

And there have been so many other shows like these.. think of OTH, the OC, Dawson’s Creek..

blaah- 90210 is meant to be based on the old episodes but if you watched the old episodes you will find them quite different…(sorry to burst your bubble)
90210 does copy gossip girl but so does every show…
but some of them stated above are just coincedences..
90210 just wants to be like gossip girl , which btw is a very famous showw.

hate to break it to you but ALL american sitcoms are pretty much the same, e.g. oc is has most if not all of the similarities mentioned in your blog and as mentioned above 90210 is based on beverly hills 90210 which was made a LONG time before gossip girl was. hate to break your bubble.

No,, i think Serena and Dan have to be together =[[ it kills me to see them not! Even Chuck and Blair ,,, uuurrrggghhh why dont they just confess at the same time ?!!! why do they have to confess at different times ?!?!?! its annoying ,, but i guess that’s what makes the show interesting, trying to find out if they end up together.

One correction, Nate and Serena never dated. They just hooked up, but they never actually dated. Yes Nate did cheat on Blair and she didn’t want to mend her friendship with Serena after she found out. But it was jut hooking up.

I think it is mere coincidence..GG was meant ot be by the book, and 90210 was a spin off from the originals follwing thru Melrose place and other spin offs. I know, I knwo, too much coincidence. Well, it does happens…after all, the dramas are of teenage life which i understand most people are in the common.
