Okay, a lot of the actors/actresses on GG tend to be turning into musicians. First, Leighton, then Westwick and our little Taylor Momsen. I don’t have anything against it but can they all really sing? I think when actors or actresses get really well known, they start to think, “Oh, I’m so famous so that means I can’t sing!” Reality is, just because you’re famous, doesn’t mean you can ring out a tune. But maybe Penn can really sing. Or maybe he can’t!

“Years from now, maybe you’ll see something, but for the moment, it’s something that I don’t want to do,” Penn said.

With his gorgeous girl Blake Lively on the red carpet at a Burberry party, Badgley talked of his love for music and why he wants to keep his talents all to himself. “I mean music is my first passion, but because of that I don’t really want to just take a first step in the wrong direction,” he said.

Some of his co-stars haven’t been as reluctant to pursue their music careers, example: Momsen who said that rock and roll “feeds my soul” and Meester has worked with Cobra Starship for a recent single. Penn admitted to listening to Westwick’s band the Filthy Youth when they started to film the show. Hard to believe, he also said that he hasn’t heard Meester’s or Momsen’s songs yet but he thinks they will do just fine in the music industry.

“I haven’t heard Taylor’s stuff, but apparently it’s pretty decent.”
