Penn Badgley stars as Dan Humphrey. He is the guy you have to love. He was born 1st November 1986. He was born in Badgley in Baltimore. His childhood was split between Seattle, Richmond, Virginia and Washington. He was actively involved with the Seattle Children’s Theater and worked doing voice-overs which lead him to Los Angeles, where he secured an agent that would make him BIG.

When he got to Los Angeles, he landed  a small role on ”Will & Grace”. He also appeared in “The Young and The Restless,” “The Brothers Garcia” and “Daddio” and also starred in ”What I Like About You”.

When he wasnt acting he attened Santa Monica Community College.  He completed his California High School Proficiency Exam at the age of 14. He will attend University of Southern California until his work schedule will give him time to do it.
In his spare time, Badgley likes to go surfing, skiing and snowboarding  as well as writing  small scripts.

In an recent interview, Penn was asked ”How does he relate to his character Dan?”
”I think everybody relates to Dan. Hes the most easily relatable because he’s the most real. He’s the most vulnerable. I think he’s the most teenager – like out of everyone because they all live such ridiculous privileged life styles and he’s from Brooklyn. He literally lives in a really incredible apartment even though he’s poor. He lives the most normal life. He’s the most regular.”
