Leighton Meester and Jessca Szohr certainly would like one, according to an interview they did with MTV News!
“A Gossip Girl movie could be compared to a Sex And The City-type of movie. I think that would be kind of hot,” suggested Meester. “We’ll see what happens. There’s no resolution in each episode – it’s always a cliffhanger. So it would be pretty juicy as a movie.”
Jessica joked, “because the CW show is based on a book series, producers might as well just check off the list and make it a film too!”

so my point is that it is far more likely for a movie based on gossip girl to suck than to be awesome. a movie would just complicate things and probably create the end of the series, which would be far worse. maybe years from now it could work, but anytime soon would be a disaster.
i think they shuldnt coz…i mean…we all dont want GG, the most awsumest show….to end…that would be awful….my life would just end!!

k, my opinion is that if it is a series going to a movie you should stop at the movie and not a have sequel because you might as well just continue with the series, just like the sex in the city movie. IT”S STUPID, I LOVE GOSSIP GIRL and i am not ready to end i love that whole ‘what’s going to happen next feeling and that feeling where you are looking forward to the next episode, waiting on what kind of bitchy thing Blair will do next I LOVE THAT. So i would HATE to see it end!
