Dan first fell in love with Vanessa. He doesn’t love Vanessa anymore when she went away for a year and fell in love with Serena. After a long time of being with Serena, “Sarah” (Georgina) fell in love with Dan and Dan liked her back. In the beginning of season 2, Dan went back to Serena and then broke up with her..dan-gossip-girl. He then went on a few dates with a new girl Amanda of course Amanda didn’t like him, she was only there so Chuck could control who would be queen. Dan then later went back to Serena and then got broken up. Dan fell in love with Rachel Carr a new teacher from Iowa. They didn’t work out for the fact that Rachel is a teacher and ruined Blair’s chances of going to Yale officially. For the rest of the episodes in the season, Dan had stayed single.

In season 3 Dan’s love life will not include Serena after what Dan had said: Dan: [to Serena] Next year we’re going to be in different cities. When you think about it, what’s really keeping us together? Dan’s love life will officially include Olivia Burke, Vanessa’s roommate. What is possible is for Dan to get back together with Vanessa but Vanessa and Nate – backpacking trip; love?
