Oh Gossip Girl, when I question your judgment you in turn give me an episode like this and shut me the hell up!

*happy sigh*

So, last week I was incredibly devastated at the idea of Nate and Blair – Gossip Girl doesn’t need more of history repeating after all – however I loved how Nate handled it… I loved that he mentioned that things didn’t work last time and I love how he conspired with Dorota… Oh Nate. How I love you!

But you know what I love most about this Blair and Nate storyline? The Chuck and Vanessa storyline that lurks behind it.
I suppose it could be argued that I love Blair with just about anyone and that I also love Chuck with, well, ANYONE! but I really do love the dynamic of Chuck and Vanessa and hope to see it some more! Although, I was disappointed with just how much we didn’t see of Chuck and Vanessa… I was hoping for something with a little more spice! I did get a silly fangirl giggle when she was there the next morning though.

Oh, amidst all the Chuck and Vanessa love I almost forgot about the return of Eric! With shorter, more sophisticated hair and as level headed as ever… if only he could have had just a sliver of influence over both Serena and Jenny.

Which gets me to my next point. Since when did Serena care what other people thought of her? Why does she care that Poppy is holidaying in Spain and thinks her party for Jenny is so dull. So sorry if Poppy can’t do something nice for someone else… and you know what Poppy? Your hair looked stupid! Yeh, I said it!

Also, what’s the deal with Serena not wearing any tops that go higher than her belly button? Yes, we get it! Blake got some fake boobs, YAY Blake… can we dress Serena properly now please?

So, perhaps I should mention Jenny as it was supposed to be her episode after all. Well, I don’t know what to say. I hate Taylor’s new platinum hair so much that I can’t pay attention to her which means I miss nearly everything she has to say.

ALL this leaves is Rufus and Lily… and well… I think I’ll say goodbye to them… but first: What’s with all the stupid stupid ideas Lily??

So, in summary:

The Good: Chuck and Vanessa! Hell yes, can I have some more? Also, Nate’s level head even in the middle of Blair’s dramatics.

The Bad: Serena… really, why is Serena around anymore? She kinda feels like filler these days, and now she’s going to Spain? Uh…huh. Also, the stupid story lines Rufus and Lily are getting just to show they were there. I think I preferred when Lily was MIA.

The ever-missing: No one… really right? I mean… Eleanor and Cyrus I suppose but HUH… who cares! Excellent episode!
