As we might all know there have been rumors about a Gossip Girl spin off. Some have said that it will revolved around Jenny others have said that it could be about when Lily and Rufus met. Reality is that it has NOTHING to do with either one.

Yesterday Star magazine reported that the series with the young Lily and Rufus will begin filming until February. So for anyone who had hopes for this…well sorry. Which i know that a lot of you didn’t really find  this interesting yet I think it would be fun to see what happened back in the day. After all is it just me or is Rufus good enough looking for being a dad?

Unfortunetly, Star magazine was incorrect to!*shocker*

Gossip Girl producers and Warner Bros. have said “Contrary to the rumors and false reports breaking in the tabloids, there is no approved concept and/or confirmation of a Gossip Girl spinoff at this time.”

Why must they play with our minds?? The Lily and Rufus rumors weren’t ment for a spinoff it was actually a pitch for the Verizon-sponsored Webisodes.

So you might ask yourself is the rumor about little J getting her own series(It Girl) true? It’s also false!

“Not sure how this got out there, but no plans for a spinoff at this moment. The books do have a spinoff, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure season two gets off to a great start.” is what Schwartz said.

Im sorry to disappoint all of you Gossip Girl fans but let’s think about it..

Would you really watch a series about little J when both little J and Vanessa are the least liked characters?
