When this whole spin-off drama started I thought it was going to be based off the latest gossip girl series “The Caryles” but now that there is no spin-off in the works (for now anyways) we go on to worry about other things….. I guess

lily and rufus have a secret love child now in the gossip girl series, so it would be cool to see them at their prime (rufus w/his rockstar music career and lily as an upper eastside snob like the other gg cast, ahem, blair, cough) besides, spinoffs rarely work out (seriously, private practice vs. greys anatomy???), so looks like schwartz is playing it safe. but it would be a good idea for webepisodes! (hint hint, cough)
