After getting all psyched up for this episode I finish it with a feeling of ‘meh’. Meh to this stupid Lord/Duchess storyline, Meh to Nate’s affair, Meh to the huge dog’s sitting by the pool (and also a little bit of freak out there) and Meh to Blair’s attitude… except when she’s with Chuck because they sizzle!

Ohh, and Meh to Serena and Dan! Although Serena did look smoking! What was up with the Jitney scene?? I thought the strawberries were too big for Serena’s mouth though… not overly as sexy as it could have been…. ohh and a Jitney? Wha? I’ve never heard of a Jitney before and they said it a billion times in this episode.

… this review is just so hard to write! I want to write positive things but all that is coming out is the stupidity of it all!

Ok, positive!!

Chuck selling his shares of Victrola to help out Nate’s family.. but Nate becoming a manwhore sucks! What a pain, I nearly started liking Nate.

Another positive: Vanessa and Rufus’s hot chemistry! I know it shouldn’t be positive but they were great together… maybe when the show starts losing plot ideas? :) More chemistry than lots of the supposed couple on the show (except Chuck and Blair… mmm).

Now that I’ve mentioned Chuck and Blair… all scenes they had together… especially the last one!! Wow, hot! Part of me doesn’t want them back together because I love their scheming against each other nearly as much as I like their scheming together. What a decision! As long as they continue to look and be amazing, who cares right? Although Blair needs to get over this Lord pronto!

Does anyone actually like that storyline? I haven’t heard of anyone who thinks Marcus and Blair should be a couple for the times, so I’m assuming not.

So, obviously, overall I’m giving this episode a rating of meh.

The best? Chuck and Blair’s last scene… also all of the love triangle stuff hehe, and of course… Gossip Girl herself.

The worst? The duchess. YUCK! Get over it Nate, go get some lovin’ from Serena, assuming she can keep her hands off of Dan… what the hell? Get with both of them! Wouldn’t that be a very pretty threesome?
