The first and second episode of the third season of gossip girl’s name were ‘Reversals of Fortunes’ and ‘The Freshmen’. Its time for you to now learn the rest!!
3.3 The Lost Boy
3.4 Dan de Fleurette
3.5 Rufus Getting Married – Pretty Obvious of what it is about.
3.6 Enough about Eve
3.7 How to suceed in Bassness – Also pretty obvious.
3.8 The Grandfather Part Two
3.9 They Shoot Humphreys, Don’t They?
3.10 The Last Days of Disco Stick – What the..
What do you think of these names, are they weird or just right for gossip girl?

A lot of these names do not bode with the usual Gossip Girl episode names because they aren’t plays on movie, play, or book titles. For instance, previous GG names are really humorous and clever, such as O Brother, Where Bart Thou? (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), The Age of Dissonance (The Age of Innocence), The Wrath of Con (The Wrath of Khan), and Gone With the Will (Gone With the Wind). Some titles are obvious, others take a bit of thought to actually get. Anyway, the Season 3 episode names seem to lack that bit of finesse found in past episode titles.
is there only going to be 10 episodes
I think that they aren’t as good as the previous titles but aren’t that bad except for “The Last Days of Disco Stick” which i think is totally wacko.
Of course not. Those were just the ones that were announced.
it’s only 10 episodes ?!?!?!?!?
theres more than that they just haven’t thought of the names yet
no there’s gona b 24 episodes.
i totally agree i used to love those little games they played with their titles being part of real plays, movies or books (Actually all of them where something like that, weren’t they?) and now suddenly … or, wait..
“the lost boy” could be –> “the lost boys” (1987, dircted by Joel Schumacher….movie?
“dan de fleurette”?no idea.
“rufus getting married” –> “rachel getting married”(2008,anne hathaway…)
“enough about eve” –> “all about eve” (1950, directed by Joseph Mankewicz)
“How to suceed in Bassness” –> “how to succeed in business (without really trying)” (1967, by David Swift)
“The Grandfather Part Two” –> “The Grandfather (El Abuelo)” (1998, directed by Jose Luis Garci) or maybe “The Grandfather” Season 2 Episode 19…simply PART II? lol
“They Shoot Humphreys, Don’t They?” –> “They shoot horses, dont they” (1969, Sydney Pollack)
“The Last Days of Disco Stick” –> “The last day of Disco” (1998, Whit Stillman) and of course DISCO STICK is from love games….lady gaga…
Soo maybe this time they just weren’t too obvious? I gotta admit, I looked it all up of course…but you see? They still use old names hehehe just…they aren’t as good as “Oh Brother, where bart thou” but well..it’s something. And yes, some are TOO revealing.
xoxo
Dan de Fleurette is based off of a french novel called Jean de Florette, pretty sure. The book was also made into a movie
We’re watching that movie in French class right now!
hey, same! then we’re gonna be studying the book. Heh, small world!

So that last one has me thinking is lady gaga going to be in this episode lol?
Episode 10 is called The Last Days of Disco Stick because Lady Gaga will be making an appearance as hersef.
