I don’t think it was her idea..It seems to me like Dan and Vanessa had considered it but tried to make it look like it was Olivia’s idea…as if they were testing her reaction. They were the ones with the paper and Dan was the one saying “fourteen out of fifteen”…So yeah, Olivia was up for it, but Dan and Vanessa had already somehow thought it through…And when in the 3×09 ending you see Dan’s look on the girls’ kiss, you can tell that he was the most up for it on the three of them…

I totally agree with Blair/Chuck, Serena/Carter and Nate/Jenny. I’m not really sure if I like Olivia with Dan though. And even though I want Nate/Jenny, for a while I was really starting to like Nate/Vanessa. I just want to say something about the threesome..A lot of people are mad at Olivia and don’t understand why she was for a while angry at Vanessa because it “appears” she started the threesome…
True, she was the first one to kiss…but to my point of view the threesome wasn’t her idea, it was Dan and Vanessa’s (they had the paper) and especially Dan (he clearly wanted olivia to see what the “Fifteenth” thing was about…and to see her reaction… since he said “fourteen out of fifteen..” If that’s not inducing, then I don’t know what that is…)
I have to say that in this episode’s teaser Olivia was bitchy; but hey gossip girl teasers are often misleading and her point of view changes throughout the episode..As I wrote in my article about this episode, she becomes lucid and aware that this experience was about Dan facing his true feelings and fantasies. By the end of the episode the trio falls apart, because Dan has figured out he was in love with Vanessa, so has Olivia and because Vanessa is not in love with Dan. There’s a reason the episode opens on Dan’s fantasied remembrance of the threesome…the whole thing was his idea, whether he is willing to admit it or not.
OMG SUCH AN AMAZING SEASON! i realllly hope vanessa doesnt start liking Dan. I really hope Serena and Tripp get together for the whole season. Something about him I just really like. I’m so glad the threesome happened, it made this season sooo interesting!
